Earrings
Earrings are decided by three things: how long they hang, how much they weigh, and how the fitting suits your ears. Our current ready design is a pearl tassel drop; other lengths, drops and fittings are made to order, so all three can be adjusted before we start.
About These Pieces
Long drops move when you move, which is the point of wearing them — but length changes how they sit against the jaw and the neck, and weight decides whether you can wear them all day. We build earrings as a pair from the same batch of material so that both sides match in colour and lustre.
Fittings matter as much as the design itself. If your ears are sensitive, tell us and we will use a fitting that suits you; if you do not have pierced ears, a clip or a wrap fitting can usually be substituted on the same design.

Getting the Fit Right
- Up to 1.5 cm — studs and small drops; sit on the lobe and work with everything.
- 2–3 cm — short drops; visible but light, comfortable for all-day wear.
- 4–6 cm — mid-length drops; noticeable movement, still comfortable for most people.
- 7 cm and above — statement drops; intended for occasions, and heavier by nature.
- Weight — under about 3 g per earring is comfortable for most people all day; above roughly 5 g per earring, many people feel pulling by the evening.

How They Are Made
Pearls are matched by lustre, size and surface within a pair, then assembled by hand. Freshwater and Edison pearls differ in shape and nacre; baroque pearls are chosen precisely because they are not round. Metal components are finished by hand, so surfaces carry the small marks of the tool.
What Can Be Customised
- Length — ask for a shorter or longer drop; we build to a measurement.
- Fitting — hooks, studs, clip-ons or wraps, including fittings for sensitive ears.
- Pearls and stones — a different pearl, or a natural stone instead.
- Weight — we can lighten a design by simplifying components if you want to wear it all day.

Care
Put earrings on after perfume, lotion and hairspray have dried, and take them off before showering, swimming or sleeping. Wipe metal with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Store pairs together so they do not get separated, and keep pearls away from water and chemicals.

Questions
Can I get these as clip-ons?
On most designs, yes — tell us before production and we will fit clips instead of hooks. If you have sensitive ears, tell us that too and we will choose a suitable fitting.
How long and how heavy are they?
Length and weight are listed on each product page where they are known. If a detail is not listed, ask us before ordering and we will measure the actual piece for you.
Can you make a shorter version?
Yes. Drop length is decided before production, so a shorter or longer version can be made. Send the length you want, or a photo of earrings you already own at the length you like.
Will the pearls match each other?
We build earrings as a pair from the same batch and match pearls by lustre, size and surface. Natural pearls still differ slightly from each other — that variation is normal and part of the material.
How long does it take?
Standard making time is up to 30 days. Rush making, when we have capacity and you confirm it, is about 10 days. Shipping time is additional.
