Bracelets

Bracelets are the pieces we make most often, and the ones where fit is easiest to get exactly right. Silver links hammered and shaped by hand, strands of baroque and Edison pearl, natural turquoise, lapis, tourmaline, peridot and amazonite — all built to a wrist measurement rather than a fixed stock size.

About These Pieces

A silver bracelet is made link by link: the silver is cut, shaped, hammered or textured, then joined and finished so the piece moves with the wrist instead of sitting stiffly on it. Textured bead bracelets catch light differently from polished ones, and the same design in a brushed finish reads completely differently again.

Stone bracelets are built strand by strand. Baroque pearls are chosen for their irregular shape rather than rejected for it; turquoise is selected for matrix and colour; lapis for the depth of its blue and the amount of pyrite it carries. Because each strand is strung by hand, the exact arrangement of stones will vary slightly from piece to piece.

How They Are Made

Silver is worked by hand, so links are never perfectly uniform and hammered surfaces carry individual facets. Natural stones and pearls vary in tone, pattern, size and surface. These differences are not defects; they are what distinguishes a handmade piece from a cast one, and they are why no two bracelets are identical.

Care

Take bracelets off before washing hands, showering, swimming or exercising. Keep pearls and soft stones away from perfume, lotion and household chemicals. Wipe metal with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store each piece separately so harder materials do not scratch softer ones.

Questions

How do I measure my wrist?

Wrap a soft tape measure, a strip of paper or a piece of string around your wrist just above the wrist bone, where you would normally wear a bracelet. Mark where it meets, measure it flat, and send us that number. We add the wearing ease based on how loose you like it.

Can you make it smaller or larger than the standard size?

Yes. Almost every bracelet is made to order, so there is no fixed size range. Send your wrist measurement when you order and we will build to it.

What if I order the wrong size?

Tell us your measurement carefully when you order. Because the piece is made specifically for you, resizing afterwards is possible for some designs and not others — contact us and we will tell you honestly what can be done.

Will the pearls and stones match the photo exactly?

No. Baroque and Edison pearls differ in shape, lustre and surface; turquoise differs in matrix; lapis differs in the amount of pyrite it carries. We select material that matches the character of the piece shown, and we can send photos before production on request.

How long does it take?

Standard making time is up to 30 days. Rush making, when we have capacity and you confirm it, is about 10 days. Shipping time is additional.
