Necklaces &
Pendants

A necklace sits closer to the face than any other piece of jewelry, which is why length matters more than anything else. Our necklaces are made by hand in silver, with natural stones, freshwater and Edison pearls, labradorite, turquoise and lapis — each one wrapped, linked or set individually.

About These Pieces

Some are built around a single stone: a piece of labradorite held in a hand-wrapped brass or silver frame, a teardrop of Hubei turquoise, a baroque pearl left in its own irregular shape. Others are strands — pearls knotted one by one, or mixed with crystal, zircon and amazonite for a softer, layered colour.

Because the length is decided before the piece is made, you are not limited to what is listed. A pendant shown at 45 cm can be made at 40 cm to sit higher on the collarbone, or lengthened to 60 cm to fall over a knit. The same stone can be hung on a fine silver chain, a leather cord, a waxed cotton cord or a textile collar, and each choice changes how the piece reads.

How They Are Made

Each pendant is wrapped or set by hand, so the frame follows the actual stone rather than a template. Stones are chosen one at a time for flash, pattern and colour; no two labradorites, turquoises or baroque pearls are identical, and the piece you receive will not be a pixel-for-pixel match of the photograph. That is the point of working with natural material.

Care

Put necklaces on after perfume and lotion have dried, and take them off before showering, swimming or sleeping. Store them flat or hanging so chains do not knot, and wipe metal with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Pearls and soft stones such as turquoise and lapis should be kept away from water, chemicals and prolonged direct sunlight.

Questions

Can I change the length of a necklace?

Yes. Length is confirmed before production begins, so you can ask for any measurement. Tell us the length in centimetres or inches, or send a photo of a necklace you already wear at the length you like, and we will match it.

What length should I choose if I am buying as a gift?

45 cm is the safest choice — it falls just below the collarbone and suits most necklines and body types. For a delicate look on a slim neck, 40 cm sits higher. For wearing over knitwear or as a longer layer, 55–60 cm works better.

Will the stone look exactly like the photo?

No, and this is true of every piece made with natural material. Labradorite flash, turquoise matrix, pearl shape and colour all vary from stone to stone. We select stones that match the character of the piece shown, and we can send photos of the actual stone before production if you ask.

Can I wear it in water?

We do not recommend it. Water, perfume, lotion and household chemicals dull metal and can damage pearls, turquoise and other porous stones. Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.

How long does it take?

Standard making time is up to 30 days. Rush making, when we have capacity and you confirm it, is about 10 days. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination.
